When is the beginning of a new day (continued)

The resurrection of Jesus Christ, also confirms that the Sabbath/s ends at sunset, and the day itself, ends at the dawn of the day. As it is written; “Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him.” (Mark 16:1).
This Sabbath although not referring to the weekly Sabbath, but the Sabbath which followed the Passover, that is, the High Day Sabbath or the Feast of Unleavened Bread, as alluded to by the apostle Luke who wrote saying; “That day was the preparation, and the Sabbath drew near. And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid. Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils, and they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment” (Luke 24: 54-56).
Let us not forget the Jesus Christ spent three nights and three days in the heart of the earth, and not a day and a half, as commonly assumed. Then according to Mark’s gospel; “Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen” …”Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons” (Mark 16:2, 9).
Now according to the gospel of Matthew, “Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn [again confirming that, it is at the dawn of the day the new day begins, because dawn is the beginning of the day, the first light in the east], Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb, and behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow, and the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men” (Matthew 28:1-4).
John also confirmed that it was; “On the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb, then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and the other disciples, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him” (John 20:1-2).
The error I think that most of us have made in the past, and some are still making, is making the preparation day a part of the Sabbath. The preparation day is not a part of the Sabbath day, it is the day before any Sabbath day, on which preparations are made, to celebrate the Sabbath. It is a period of time when one has to prepare him/herself mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, so as to be in a state of readiness, and come to present themselves before the Lord, and ascribing to the Lord the glory due to His name, to bring and offering, and to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
