The date of
Christ's birth has never been a secret
The fourth reason why Christians should not celebrate Christmas it is because the popular teaching to support the Christmas theory in that no one knows the exact date of Christ's birth is both erroneous and deceptive. Unfortunately, “if the date of Christ's birth is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them” 2Corinthians 4:4).
If
the date of Christ's birth is unknown as most deceivers have said and led so
many to believe it is unknown because of the huge cloud of deception that is
hanging over the entire world and because of the denial and rejection of Jesus
Christ by those who knew Him for it is written; “Now some of them from
Jerusalem said, "Is this not He whom they seek to kill? Look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing
to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ? The response
of those who rejected and denied Him as being the Christ said; “we know where
this Man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is
from."
Then
Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, "You both know Me,
and you know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me
is true, whom you do not know. But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent
Me" (John 7:25-29).
Here
we see where the idea of no one knows the date of Christ’s birth came imagine
now, in the middle of winter people who profess to know Jesus Christ are
delighted in singing “Hark the herald angels sing, glory to the new born king”
when the time the angels sang glory to the new born King the shepherds were
outside in the fields keeping watch over their flocks.
In addition
to this, how can profess Christians have blinded their eyes to the festival
designated and ordained specifically for the worship and adoration of the King
of kings and Lord of lords and which is intertwined with the biblical Feast of
Tabernacles when the scripture clearly states: “And it shall come to pass that
everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go
up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the
Feast of Tabernacles?”
What
is so difficult in this scripture for one who professes to believe in Jesus
Christ to understand and believe! And remember, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday,
today and forever?
The onus is on each individual to believe or not to believe, for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad so the choice is yours whether to believe or not to be believe.
