The unfailing laws of nature
The laws
of nature which governs our daily lives and our surroundings are static and
unchangeable, it is applicable to all regardless of their knowledge of its existence
or not, regardless of race color or creed and as the saying goes, “ignorance of
the law is no excuse.”
The
apostle Paul also alluded to this by saying; “For as many as have sinned
without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law
will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight
of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; for when Gentiles, who do
not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not
having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written
in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves
their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)” (Romans 2:12-15).
So the
crux of the matter is, whether or not we are knowledgeable of the laws which
govern our physical life the end result of obedience or disobedience to these
laws are applicable to all without partiality. These laws also reveal God’s
eternal power. “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes
are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His
eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (Romans
1:20).
Let us
therefore take some time and examine the basic laws that govern our daily
existence and let us not be ignorant of the Lord’s impartiality for there is no
partiality with God and so, what is applicable to one is applicable to all.
Therefore, anything that is not ordained by God is not of God and what is not
of God is of the adversary the devil.
For example,
the everlasting gospel which is to be preach to all those who dwell on the
earth is to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people and the message is, "Fear
God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship
Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water" (Revelation
14:6-7).
So then,
whatever law that governs things in heaven, the earth, the sea and springs of
water is applicable to all without exception. And so, I beg to ask the question
why are there three different trends of thought as to when a new day begins? Why do some people believe that a day begins
at midnight, while others believe that it is at sunset and some believe that it
is at sun rise? The question is, wat time did God ordain as the beginning of a
new day?
As trivial as some people may think this is, I can assure you that it is not as trivial as one might think because all this have to do with worship, it has to do with who are we giving the honor and glory to, is it to the Creator, or to the adversary?
To be continued
With brotherly love
Lucius Joseph
