Wise men from the East
The
wise men from the East confirmed that the Kingship of Jesus Christ began from birth for it is written; ; “Now
after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king,
behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, "Where is He who
has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have
come to worship Him" (Matthew
2:1-2).
The
wise men even demonstrated their belief by honoring and worshiping Jesus Christ
as King, because when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child
with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened
their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold (to honor Him as King),
frankincense (to worship and honor Him as God), and myrrh (to honor him as
man)” (Matthew 2:11).

The Ministry of Jesus Christ
The
bible stated in no uncertain terms that, “Jesus Himself began His ministry at
about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, the son
of Heli” (Luke 3:23).
So
the logical question is, when did Jesus Christ begin His Ministry? The
scriptures confirm that, “After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for He
did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him. Now the
Jews' Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. His brothers therefore said to Him,
"Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the
works that You are doing. For no one does anything in secret while he himself
seeks to be known openly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the
world." For even His brothers did not believe in Him” (John 7:1-5).
And
Jesus’ reply to His brothers was; “My time has not yet come, but your time is
always ready. The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of
it that its works are evil. You go up to this feast. I am not yet going up to
this feast, for My time has not yet fully come." When He had said these
things to them, He remained in Galilee (John 7:6-9).
But
later we are told that; “But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went
up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. Then the Jews sought Him
at the feast, and said, "Where is He?" And there was much complaining
among the people concerning Him. Some said, "He is good"; others
said, "No, on the contrary, He deceives the people" (John 7:10-12).
It
is also stated that, “Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the
temple and taught. And the Jews marveled, saying, "How does this Man know
letters, having never studied?" And on the last day, that great day of the
feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come
to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his
heart will flow rivers of living water" (John 7:14-15; 37-38).
This
confirms therefore that the ministry of Jesus Christ officially began during
the Feast of Tabernacles at the age of thirty (30) years old and lasted for
three and half (3 1/2) years which concluded at His death on the 14th,
day of the first month of the year indicating that on the 15th day
of the seventh month would have been His 34th birthday.
So
what is so complicated in that for those who profess to be in the light are
unable to understand?
