Once and for all phenomenon (part four)

6.  The establishment of the kingdom of God on earth

I have covered so far the five current once and for all phenomena which unfortunately many professing Christians have not grasped their significance and practicality in our daily lives.  However, there are two more once and for all phenomena still to be fulfilled and they are:

The establishment of the kingdom of God on earth, for it is stated that, "In the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold --- the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure" (Daniel 2:44-45).

It is also stated that, “the court shall be seated, and they shall take away his (Satan) dominion, to consume and destroy it forever. Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him' (Daniel 7: 26-27)

As clearly seen, once this kingdom is established on earth without any shadow of doubt it will be a once and for all phenomenon, it will an everlasting kingdom and shall stand forever.

7. Jesus Christ surrendering everything back to the Father

The seventh and the culmination of the once and for all phenomenon is Jesus Christ handing over everything back to the Father. As it is written; "Then comes the end, when He (Jesus Christ) delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power: For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

For, "He has put all things under His feet." But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He who put all things under Him is exempted. Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him that God may be all in all.

In a nutshell, this is the meaning of the once and for all phenomenon, which is:

1.  God taken on flesh and dwelt among men in order to live and experience life like any ordinary man and thus conquering sin in the flesh by not succumbing to sin.

2. Jesus Christ dying to pay the penalty of sin in full for all humanity by the shedding His blood and leaving us the blood of the new covenant for the forgiveness of our sins, because without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

3. Jesus Christ resurrecting from the dead giving humanity life, by giving His flesh to eat in the form of the unleavened bread, and His blood to drink in the form of the wine for our spiritual sustenance and our gateway to the Father.

Because Jesus Christ stated quite emphatically, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from heaven --- not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever" (John 6:53-58).

4.  Jesus Christ, being a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek is sitting at the right hand of the Father making intercessions for us, waiting until His enemies are made His footstool and peace and harmony be restored in all the earth.

5. By these four events the will of the Father for the salvation of man is fulfilled once and for all.

6. What we are to anticipate in the not too distant future is the establishment of God's kingdom on earth.

7.  The handing over of everything back to the Father that God may be all in all.

This my brothers and sisters is the meaning of the once and for all phenomenon  which has so many sincere but uneducated believers confused, bamboozled and discombobulated, but these times of ignorance God has overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.

With brotherly love
