Is the grace of God conditional?

 How are we to reciprocate for having received the grace of God?

Since everything we are, and have, and can become, is all attributed to the grace of God, how can we reciprocate and express our gratitude to God for His manifold graces? For it is by grace we have been saved through faith, and that not of ourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Even the faith that one requires to believe is by the grace of God, therefore, all that is required of us is to show and express our gratitude to God for what He has done and is doing for us, even though we did not deserve them.

So how do we express this gratitude! Is there a protocol, a code of conduct, or is everyone at liberty to do what seems right in his/her own eyes, and walk after the imagination of their own evil heart?

The irony of truth is all what the Lord has done for man He did it unconditionally and without man's input, but to reap the benefits of what He has gracefully given to us is conditional. Hence the reason the Lord said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments." If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love" (John 14: 15; 15:10).

The way one can reciprocate the grace of God, is by expressing gratitude and show appreciation for what God has given and did for us, by allowing ourselves to be trained by His saving grace, "teaching us that we should deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works" (Titus 2:11-14).

It is an undeniable fact that our salvation is not of ourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast, however, we should not underestimate or not taken into consideration the rationale for having received the grace of God, for it is feasible to receive God's grace in vain.

And so, we have been admonished by the apostle Paul saying; "We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6: 1-2).

The rationale for having been saved by grace is to reciprocate it. For it is written; "And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ" (John 1:16-17).

The rationale for receiving grace is to fulfill the work which was ordained before the foundation of the world: "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10).

Now the works which were ordained before the foundation of the world that we should walk in them are as follows;
